Urinary stones are hard deposits of minerals and proteins that can form in different parts of the urinary system. Depending on where the stone is located, it may be referred to as a kidney stone, ureteral stone, or bladder stone.
Urinary stones can vary in size and shape. While smaller stones may pass out of the body on their own, larger stones may require medical intervention to prevent complications such as infection or blockage of the urinary tract.
About 1 in 10 Singaporeans will develop kidney stones in their lifetime. If you are experiencing any of the above signs and symptoms, seek immediate treatment to prevent complications.
To better understand your condition, we may conduct diagnostic tests and procedures such as blood and urine testing, imaging tests, and analysis of passed stones.
From there, we will develop a customised treatment plan to optimally address your kidney stones while minimising discomfort, risks, and recovery time.
Your projected recovery time will differ depending on your kidney stone treatment. Rest assured that we will be there with you every step of the way to ensure that your stones have safely passed.
effectively with minimal-to-no scars, less pain, and reduced recovery time.
